About this Zine

The purpose of this zine is to look deeper into the traveller's relationships with everyone that they’ve invited to their teapot and to explore these truly remarkable relationship-building interactions.We will be limiting this zine to platonic and silly fun interactions, however, to avoid the stress of worrying over whether or not you’ll come across your dreaded NOTP! But fear not! There’s still many a glorious interaction for these two remarkable stars to have with their many teapot guests, as in this zine is not limited to one twin being the traveller. They’re both the traveller, and both are the abyssal twin.That part all depends on who you chose at the start of your journey, Lumine and Aether enthusiasts are welcome!

FAQ

Q: Will you state which ships might be included or will others have to guess? There was an incident were a certain character's zine turned out to be a zine featuring several of the buyer's NOTPA: Absolutely, although every ship in the A Spot of Serenitea Zine will be platonic in nature, we will include a breakdown of platonic ships included within the zine for the comfort of our buyers.Q: This might seem silly, but I would love for it to also be landscape heavy because the teapot is so much about building fancy houses/layouts for everyone.A: That’s not silly at all! The mods of the A Spot of Serenitea Zine are wholly for it being very landscape heavy as the teapot is heavily comprised of scenery, so we’ll be looking mostly for artist contributors who have background work in their sample pieces, and writers who are capable of descriptive prose.Q: Thanks for organizing this project and best of luck! It's such a cute idea! Would there be options for black and white and/or colour comics, or opportunities to collab with writers? Thank you!A: We’re not against this notion in the slightest, however that will be entirely up to the artists and writers themselves, as that option will be put forward to them during the creation stage. As for black and white/colour comics, they will be welcome as we aim to have some spread pages that comics would fill nicely!Q: With the side ship zine (which I really like the idea of), I think it would be good if the max rating on art or fics is Mature or Explicit. However, I’m not sure if this is an all-ages zine so I understand if you cannot allow suggestive/NSFW content. I also do think that while the content of the ship side zine isn’t restricted, it would be useful if you could ensure an even spread of pairings, so it isn’t all popular pairings/BL pairings/etc :)A: Due to the results of our interest check we Mods have decided against the side ship zine for the time being, deciding instead to look into it perhaps being a potential future follow up project after the SFW zine is complete.Q: Will following count be a factor in choosing applicants?A: No. We will be more focused on the content you bring to the table with your sample pieces and your conduct within the Genshin community, rather than the follower count you have.Q: Has it been decided if this zine will be for profit or for charity? And since the theme is specific, has the possibility of a digital-only zine been discussed, or has it been decided it will be physical?A:

Application Guidelines

• 3 sample pieces must be provided.• Mods will judge art pieces based on lighting, colouring, anatomy, and style. And written pieces based on characterization, grammar, style, and flow• For writers, please provide one full sample within 2500 words or less. The other 2 samples can be excerpts from longer works.• For Page artists, please ensure one sample has a background included.• For Merch Artists, at least 1 piece should be of a merch design you've done or artwork that is best suited for a merchandise style.• Merch artists will be able to choose 1-2 pieces of merchandise from the finalized list to create for the zine.• Please ensure all the links you provide work; you can do this through trying them in incognito browsers as broken links will result in disqualification.• DISCLAIMER: Due to the difficulty of paying minors, while we will be accepting minors as contributors, we must advise that any payment for work done will either go toward a charity of your choice, or can be used to purchase extras for yourselves.By applying for the role of contributor you confirm you have read and understand the schedule and are prepared to dedicate yourself to the projects timeline and everything including your position. Failure to adhere to the guidelines could result in you being removed from the project.1 piece included in your samples must be Genshin Impact.
